Neckarsteig

The nine hiking stages listed below are tour suggestions. Of course, you can also vary them individually according to your hiking wishes. Numerous entry and exit points are available along the Neckarsteig. The public transport offers very good connections and allows you to organize the hikes as one-day or multi-day tours. There are good markings throughout in both directions, allowing a free choice of walking direction.

Plan enough time to explore the old towns, castles, villages, historical buildings and the nature park trails with panels as well as the scenic attractions. For the perfect hiking experience, of course, do not miss the culinary delights in the inns of the region.
When planning your time, please bear in mind that the Neckarsteig, with its abundance of adventure points and its magnificent course, involves some differences in altitude with challenging ascents and descents. Of course, the right footwear and sufficient drinks belong to every hike.
