Baden wine trail

The Baden Wine Cycle Route connects the Baden wine regions of Markgräflerland, Kaiserstuhl, Tuniberg, Breisgau, Ortenau, Kraichgau and Badische Bergstrasse over a distance of around 460 kilometers from Basel to Weinheim. Along the way, there are more than 300 wineries, winegrowers' cooperatives and wine shops, some of which have been awarded prizes, as well as a number of wine tourism highlights such as a corkscrew museum or old troughs.

But not only grapevines, but also the many fruit trees provide tasty water: about 40 distilleries are located not far from the route. In keeping with the theme, high-quality wine hotels and cozy overnight accommodations at the winery as well as bed-and-bike establishments offer relaxing nights.

In addition, bike workshops as well as numerous e-bike charging stations support enjoyable cycling. The route covers a total of more than 3,000 meters in altitude and runs mostly on paved roads, which makes it particularly suitable for e-bikes.
